Hi!

After having worked as a writer in the government for several years, I decided to return to university full-time to finish my Honours B.A. in English at the University of Toronto. The once-in-a-lifetime experience of returning to school as a mature student is something that I would never trade. I have previously worked as a real estate agent and have written about how to buy condos in Toronto.

I recently created a new website, torontonicity.com, which highlights Toronto, Canada events, festivals, entertainment, restaurants, bars, shopping and recreation.

I have over 15 years of professional writing experience, including briefing notes, letters, reports, newsletters, media releases, fact sheets, communications plans, Q's & A's, articles, and blogs.

In addition to my B.A., I have a certificate in Public Relations and have written on tips for delivering great presentations.

I have done freelance writing for Animal News, sceneandheard.ca, and toronto.com.

Living in Toronto, I like to share with my readers what's going on in my city. You can read about the best bars for 30's in Toronto, the best patios in Toronto, shopping at trendy women's clothing stores in Toronto, shopping at factory outlets in Toronto, Christmas craft sales in Toronto, Christmas events for children in Toronto, Christmas concerts in Toronto.

As an English grad, I have written about how to study for passage analysis exams, and the best summer reads. Having attended the University of Toronto, I know the best places to study and eat at U of T.

I love to take day trips in Ontario and have visited and written about Niagara-on-the-Lake, Stratford, Muskoka, and Lake Huron.

I am also interested in alternative health and spirituality and have written about numerology.

I am available for freelance writing jobs, including online writing, editing, blogging, and public relations materials. Please contact me at loriabosworth@gmail.com.
